hmmm... it might be something in the settings for printing. i know that everyone has a different printer and the commands are not the same, but with the printer I use, there is an option to print "all objecs" or "non-printing objects"... maybe this will help, but maybe not. i will poll my co-workers and see if i can find a solution for you. - Read More..

Hiya I'm in the Uk and the processor is a called a Raptor .. I have never commited the model number to memory. The current plate type is Fuji, which I believe are of Dutch manufacture. When I'm at work Monday I will post up the full specs ... after reading a related 'mark on plate post' I might just buy a Magic Duster as I seem to have tried everything else. Hi my firm has had a Heidleberg workflow system for a couple of years - the software side of it has been pretty good, even though the supplied hardware has had its problems. The PC Hard-drives have all failed, but they were fixed and reloaded usually in 24 hours. The Prosetter spinner motor failed - producing a 'smudged or stretched' image that got worse over time before before it was recognised as a motor failure because it becomes intermitant before it goes completely. i have problems with pdfs and eps files placed into InDesign. i always convert to a tif first, if possible. (logos have to stay as an eps, but that is a whole other topic) have you tried importing the pdf into photoshop and changing it to a tif? - Read More..

Well, there will be variation between printers and that is pressman, equipment, inks, paper, etc. The window for newsprint 4 color is very wide and thus the range of what's acceptable is also very wide. So, don't be too hard on yourself as this isn't all on you. Also, this is good stuff to keep in mind as you set and communicate with a customer, boss, art director. dear friend, usually , the RPM for trendsetter machine is less than lotem one but this depend on also laser head type , for Quantum head we use less RPM but fibre head we use high RPM. for trendsetter machine the laser power is in range 8 to [12 [/color]mw and the RPM in range 150 to 200 RPM (this is the most common used) Regards, - Read More..
